Capture everything

Save photos, videos, voice memos and written notes together as a single memory.

Timeline and map

Browse your life by date or by place, with flashbacks to what happened on this day.

Private by default

Memories are yours unless you choose to share them. A Face ID–locked vault keeps the most personal ones hidden.

How do I add a memory?

Tap the Create tab, add photos, videos, a voice memo or text, then save. Attimo can fill in the date and location from your photos automatically.

Who can see my memories?

Only you, unless you change a memory's visibility. You can share a memory with specific friends, and choose whether each one can view or edit it. Memories in your hidden vault are never shown to anyone else.

Why does Attimo ask for camera, photo, microphone or location access?

Only so you can add media and places to your memories. Each permission is optional, and you can change it any time in the iOS Settings app under Attimo.

I forgot my password.

Email us from the address on your account and we'll help you regain access.

How do I report content or block someone?

On a memory someone shared with you, or on their profile, tap ••• and choose Report or Block. Report opens a pre-filled email to us. We review every report within 24 hours. Blocking someone ends your friendship and removes anything either of you shared with the other.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to You → Settings → Delete account. You can also email support@theattimoapp.com from the address on your account. Your account and all of its memories and media are permanently deleted within 30 days.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 23, 2026

Attimo LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("Attimo", "we", "us"), makes the Attimo app for iPhone and iPad. Your memories are personal, and this policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

What we collect

  • Account information: your display name, username, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Content you add: photos, videos, voice memos, journal entries, titles, tags, people you tag, folders, achievements and ratings.
  • Media metadata: when you upload a photo or video, we read its embedded data (such as date taken, camera details and GPS location) to place it on your timeline and map.
  • Location: only if you allow it, and only when you choose to tag a memory with your current location. We do not track your location in the background.
  • People you tag: names of people you add to memories, who may not be Attimo users.
  • Social activity: your friends, friend requests, and memories shared with you.
  • Technical data: our servers record basic logs (such as IP address, device type, app version and request times) to keep the service running and secure. Logs are kept for up to 90 days.
  • Messages to us: anything you send when you contact support or report content.

What stays on your device

Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by iOS; we never receive your biometric data. Camera, microphone and photo library access are used only when you choose to add something to a memory. Sign-in tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain.

How we use it, and our legal basis

  • To provide the service (performance of our contract with you): storing your memories, syncing them across devices, and sharing them with the people you choose.
  • With your consent: using your camera, microphone, photos and location. You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS Settings.
  • For our legitimate interests: keeping accounts secure, preventing abuse, reviewing reported content, and fixing bugs.
  • To meet legal obligations: responding to valid legal requests.

We never use your content for advertising or to train AI models, and we do not sell, rent or "share" (as defined by California law) your personal information.

Who can see your memories

Memories are private by default. Others can see a memory only if you share it with specific friends; there are no public posts or feeds. If you later delete or unshare a memory, people who already viewed it may have saved their own copy, which we cannot control. Memories in your hidden vault are never visible to anyone else.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run Attimo. They process data only on our instructions and are bound to protect it:

  • Supabase — database and encrypted media storage.
  • Railway — servers that run the Attimo service.
  • Apple — app distribution and, if you enable them, notifications.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of Attimo LLC, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.

Where your data is stored

Attimo is operated from the United States. Your account data, memories and media are stored by Supabase on servers in Canada, and our application servers run in the United States. Your information may therefore be processed in both countries, which may have different data protection laws from where you live. Canada is recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate protection for personal data; for transfers to the U.S., including from the EU or UK, we rely on safeguards such as our providers' Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our storage provider. Access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we recommend keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

Retention and deletion

  • We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
  • When you delete a memory, it and its media are removed from our servers immediately, and from backups within 30 days.
  • You can delete your account in the app under You → Settings → Delete account, or by emailing us from your account's address. Your account, memories, media, journal entries and tags are permanently erased within 30 days, including from backups.
  • We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it, or to handle reports of abuse.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop processing it. Depending on where you live (for example California, Connecticut and other U.S. states, the EU or UK), you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act and the GDPR, including the right to object, to restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email support@theattimoapp.com and we will respond within 30 days (45 where state law allows). We will never treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Attimo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.

Terms of Use

Effective October 23, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Attimo LLC ("Attimo", "we", "us") covering your use of the Attimo app and service. By creating an account or using Attimo, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Attimo.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Attimo. If you are under 18, or the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent's or guardian's permission. You are responsible for the information you give us being accurate, for keeping your password secure, and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

2. Your content

You own the photos, videos, voice memos, writing and other content you add to Attimo. To run the service, you grant Attimo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to operate Attimo and to show it to the people you choose to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users already received through sharing.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including permission from people who appear in content you share.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

Attimo has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not use Attimo to post, share or send content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
  • sexually exploits or endangers minors, or is sexually explicit;
  • harasses, bullies, threatens, or incites violence or hatred against any person or group;
  • shares someone's private information or intimate images without their consent;
  • infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
  • is spam, malware, or an impersonation of another person.

You also may not try to access other users' accounts or private memories, disrupt the service, or scrape or reverse-engineer Attimo.

4. Reporting and blocking

You can report any memory shared with you, or any user, from within the app, or by emailing support@theattimoapp.com. You can block any user; blocking ends your friendship, removes anything either of you shared with the other, and stops them from finding you or sending you requests. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours, which may include removing the content and suspending or permanently banning the user who posted it.

5. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Attimo infringes your copyright, email support@theattimoapp.com with: your contact details; a description of the work; where the content appears in Attimo; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will remove infringing content and disable the accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under You → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for others. Sections 2 (as to shared copies), 7, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.

7. Disclaimers

Attimo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Attimo will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attimo LLC and its members, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Attimo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Attimo LLC from claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of Attimo, or your breach of these terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you and Attimo consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days. Nothing here limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Attimo after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Attimo from the Apple App Store, these terms apply alongside Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and you also agree that:

  • these terms are between you and Attimo LLC only, not Apple, and Attimo, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content;
  • your licence is a non-transferable licence to use Attimo on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Terms of Service;
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Attimo;
  • if Attimo fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation;
  • Attimo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims;
  • Attimo, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights;
  • you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
  • you must comply with applicable third-party terms (such as your wireless carrier's) when using Attimo; and
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Attimo about the service.
